Lint configuration settings

lint.ignore

Type:

array of strings

Default:

A list of linting codes to ignore. An entry matches a code exactly, or — with a trailing .* — a whole family: "config.*" matches config and every config.<subcode>.

lint.lsp_select

Type:

array of strings

Default:

[]

A list of linting codes to select in LSP file diagnostics This overrides the ignore list. Entries match exactly or as trailing-.* family wildcards.

lint.message-ignores

Type:

array of tables

Default:

[]

Message-based ignores: suppress diagnostics whose message contains a given substring.

Each entry: A rule for suppressing diagnostics whose message contains a given substring.

lint.message-ignores[].codes

Type:

array of strings

Optional set of diagnostic codes this rule applies to. If empty/omitted, the rule applies to all codes. Entries match exactly or as trailing-.* family wildcards.

lint.message-ignores[].contains

Type:

string

Default:

""

A case-insensitive substring to match against the diagnostic message.

lint.per-file-ignores

Type:

table of (array of strings)

Default:

{}

Per-file ignores: maps POSIX glob patterns (relative to config directory) to lists of diagnostic codes to ignore for matching files. Code entries match exactly or as trailing-.* family wildcards.
